❄️ January: Winter Wonders – Fire & Ice
January at Wonder Makers feels a little bit magical!
This month, kids will explore the creative contrast of Fire & Ice — using bold warm and cool colors, frosty textures, mixed media materials, clay, foil, tissue, cotton, and paint to build wintry scenes, glowing lantern-style art, sculpted characters, and icy landscapes full of imagination.
They’ll experiment with color moods, create texture using unexpected materials (foil, cotton, tissue, cardboard, glitter, and more), and turn simple supplies into snowy cottages, icy worlds, glowing winter light, penguin habitats, and art that feels alive.
We’ll focus on process art, creative choices, and storytelling — not cookie-cutter crafts. No two projects will look the same. That’s what makes Wonder Makers so fun — kids get to make it their way.

Mondays: 3 Classes
Jan 5th, 12th, & 26th
🕘 9:30–10:30 AM (K–4th Grade)

✨ Optional Creative Extension
🕥 10:30–11:00 AM (+$8 per session)
After class, kids can stay for extra creative studio time where they can:
🎨 Continue adding details to their bugs, flowers, or creature houses
✨ Explore guided nature prompts
🧵 OR simply draw, paint, glue, build, collage, or sculpt however they like
Creative Extension is open-ended, child-led, and gives young artists a chance to experiment freely with extra materials.

After registering, you’ll receive a Family Info Form by email.
This form must be completed before your child attends class. You only need to fill it out once, but if anything changes (contact info, allergies, etc.), please submit a new form so we can keep your child’s records up to date.
